Hello To All,
We go into R6 this weekend with some defining games for the club & a point to prove that we need to stand up – on field & understand near enough is not good enough.
It has been the story thus far at senior level apart from R1 where we were disappointing “got ahead of ourselves” & paid the price. We have played good football since then but really those 10-15 minutes lapses have been costly & quality teams will punish you.
Realistically we could be 3-2 but fact is we are not therefore a challenge beckons up at Montmorency. Come to play & if we can make every contest likes its our last & play to the level we know we can, we are a real chance.
The same applies for both Development & U19 level with the latter playing at Whittlesea on Saturday morning which presents an opportunity for a win in our return to Div 1.
PAVILION UPGRADE
Remember May 21 – Vote with this in mind.
Would be fair to say without giving any political allegiance away this is looking very encouraging for the club.
Hopefully some very exciting times ahead.
NETBALL
The final week of grading was played on Friday night with the ladies across all teams looking to have a big year.
Results to date have been extremely positive where it appears we have terrific depth throughout the grades.
Results Grading Round Week 4
NH 1 39 vs Diamond Creek 1 31
NH 2 28 vs Heat 1 22
NH 3 33 vs Bundoora 2 16
NH 4 41 vs Heat 2 27
NH 5 48 vs Whittlesea 2 14
NH 6 19 vs Kilmore 1 42
NH 7 21 vs Lalor 1 21
By my calculations that’s 5 wins, 1 tie & 1 defeat.
Keep up the great work.

FUNDRAISING – PLAYER SPONSORS/COTERIE GROUP/SPONSORS
The Player Sponsor program is progressing well & not to late to sponsor a player in our Netball, U19s or Senior/Development level either as an individual or business.
Our Coterie Groups continue to increase in numbers & it is a great way to raise the necessary funds for the club to remain financially viable whilst at the same time offering the chance of a return on your investment available to all members in either the Coterie 500, 1000 or the 1500 club.
To the many individuals & business partners who contribute over the year we genuinely appreciate your financial contribution & realise how important it is we provide value for your commitment to us.
If anyone is interested in joining one of the Coterie Groups where you receive many benefits, it is never too late to get on board.
