Football
Unfortunately three defeats last weekend on the footy side of it with the Seniors pushing Greensborough to the limit but just falling short. We certainly had our chances being in front in the last stanza but unfortunately could not hold on, hopefully we learn from it as we gear up towards finals.
Special mention to our co-captain Daniel Bramich for playing 200 senior games at the club. Over the time Bram has been a very good player at this club, captain over the last three seasons & a terrific guy off field. In today’s footy landscape, playing 200 games cannot be understated, so from all at the Doggies, well done on a great achievement.
Development with a few unavailable due to injury struggled against Greensborough, but will look to bounce back this weekend & hold their position in the top 5.
U/19s led from the start to nearly the end going down by a goal against Eltham & hopefully another victory is not far off..

Saturday Night July 27 – Dynamic Duos dress up night this is an event not to be missed organised by the players, all welcome.
Saturday August 10 – Montmorency home game Bulldog Hall of Fame 12.00pm – 2.00pm with a further three players to be inducted on the day. Free entry with drinks at bar prices & finger food supplied organised by the North Heidelberg past players group.
Saturday Night August 17 – Lower Plenty away game “The Suburban Footballer” featuring Tom Siegert comes to North Heidelberg.

The contribution whether financial or in kind is appreciated & highly valued & we hope the club offers a return for your investment with our increased media exposure due to recent on field success & generates new business for you through our membership & supporter base.
Next season we will looking to consolidate & grow further our partnerships with our business partners with sponsorship at all levels so if you have a skill set in that area particularly building a connection with local business we would welcome a chat.
Around the club plenty happening behind the scenes in readiness for season 2020 & like all clubs we will be seeking assistance for people looking to fill volunteer roles whether that be general or social committee, match day tasks & other.
