This Thursday February 6, we take on the Bundoora

This Thursday February 6, we take on the Bundoora Park CC in a 20/20 contest to be held under lights at Bundoora Park Oval located in Snake Gully Drive. ⠀
⠀
We are hoping to raise as much money as possible to donate to one of the local charity organisations supporting bushfire recovery efforts across Victoria. ⠀
⠀
Whilst the fundraising efforts of both clubs is the primary focus as we band together the game itself should be of a high standard with a foreign legion of local cricketers who will represent the club as we take on the successful & talented Bundoora Park. ⠀
⠀
There will be a full bar and canteen with all profits from the night to be donated to the chosen charity. ⠀
⠀
We are looking for people or the business community to contribute to the night via donation or business sponsorship that could be a set or incentive-based contribution ie. by the number of 6s or 4s or any other novel way of contribution that you prefer.⠀
⠀

Several local musicians are getting together to cr

Several local musicians are getting together to create a chilled afternoon of Bands, Bowls and BBQ at the local Rosanna Bowling Club!

Please get behind these amazingly generous and talented musicians and rock up to enjoy chilled vibes and a game of bowls.
This event and bbq will be run by volunteers and all profits will go to assisting the Victorian Bushfire Relief efforts.
This is a family friendly event.

Caillin has trained solidly over pre-season with the club & we are delighted to have him on board at the Bulldogs in 2020.⠀

Having spent his junior & seniors years at the Boro which includes last season where he played 3 games at the top grade & kicked 32 goals at development level & being in is early 20s it is an opportunity for Ketty to get more senior game time where we believe he will add significantly to our depth.⠀

Introducing Charlie Le Fanu, after a debut season at Northcote Park where he managed 10 senior games & named in the best in six of those games before succumbing to injury. ⠀
⠀
The former Western Australian who played in Subiaco’s senior premiership sides of 2014 & 2015 is a terrific inclusion & is sure to give plenty of run out of defence or in a midfield role.⠀ ⠀
Only in the prime of his career & settled in Melbourne Charlie has committed to the club & we look forward to seeing him in a Bulldogs jumper in season 2020.⠀

Introducing Jackson Starcevich previously from Northcote Park after spending three seasons at the Cougars, Jackson is sure to add plenty to our forward line where he is known as a proven goal kicker at this level & before-hand at Shepparton United in the strong Goulburn Valley competition.⠀

After a stint at Collingwood VFL he is looking to enjoy his footy at local level again & get a consistent run at it injury free where he finished top 3 in the Rosbrook Medal for season 2017. ⠀

We welcome Jackson to the club & look forward to seeing him creating some headaches for the opposition defence in season 2020.⠀

North Heidelberg is delighted to announce the appointment of Sharon Ashworth to our Netball coaching team for 2020. ⠀
⠀
Sharon is no stranger to the NFNL and is excited to return to a new club after a year off. Sharon has an extremely impressive netball resume having coached: ⠀
⠀
- Banyule representative level open, 17’s and 15’s. ⠀
- Former Head coach at Greensborough football netball club ⠀
- NFNL interleague 19’s representative team ⠀
- Jika regional netball ⠀
- VNL with MU development academy program⠀
- Head coach of Diamond Valley netball club.⠀

Sharon will coach the division 1 team in 2020 and will also be developing a junior pathway for the club with the recruitment of some great up and coming talent which she is also very keen to coach. ⠀

Sharon is excited to recruit young talent to North Heidelberg utilising her strong connections with junior associations and clubs. ⠀
⠀
Exciting news for the longevity of North Heidelberg's netball We are extremely excited to have a coach of Sharon’s calibre at the club. ⠀

Introducing Jared Crosbie son of former senior “gun” player Shane “Bing” Crosbie who has crossed from Kilmore where he won the U/17 league best & fairest in the NFNL for season 2019.⠀

Jared has been ultra-impressive at pre-season to date & has impressed all with his commitment & dedication, displaying maturity well beyond his years & is viewed as a real senior prospect in the not too distant future.⠀

We welcome Jared & the Crosbie family back to the Bulldogs where we look forward to Jared plying his trade under the tutelage of our senior coaching panel.⠀

Introducing Doug Morris a former Northcote Park be

Introducing Doug Morris a former Northcote Park best & fairest winner who also had a stint at Old Trinity at A Grade amateur level.

Doug was keen to play under former coach Jason Heatley who has returned to the Bulldogs this season after the pair played a big part in Northcote Park’s last senior premiership in season 2012.

A proven midfielder rated very highly within NFNL ranks with the added ability to kick goals we believe Doug will be a terrific asset & at a prime age will bring plenty to the list as we look forward to the challenge of Div 1 footy.
We welcome Doug & his family to the Bulldogs and we can’t wait to see him line up in the red, white & blue in season 2020.
